Daniel's Pass

Daniel's Pass has a lodge, a little store and a few residents live there year round. It is at 8,000 feet in the high Unita Mountains of Utah so this was my drive through on my way to where my daughter lives but she is at a lower elevation of 6,000 feet in the Unita Basin.

They always get their share of snow.

So fun and different! Love the flag shadow! What are the snow covered mounds in the first picture? They look almost like stone Christmas trees!

Hi Ruth,
The snow is beautiful and I love the ornament.
But, I think I will pass on the snow for now :)

Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)

Although beautiful scenery, I too, am one to pass on the snow! But, it dos look like a great place to hang out and the sun makes it even more inviting.

Have a Happy New Year!

That snow reminds me of our last year in Illinois, when we were constantly scooping. It's a beautiful place for sure, but I'll pass until the snow melts.
