Norman Rockwell Exhibit at BYU

Linking to: Weekend Reflections

My family in front of a bronze sculpture

This is the museum on Brigham Young University campus where the Norman Rockwell Exhibit was held. We were not allowed to photograph any of his art work but it was a delightful exhibit. He was so clever in adding stories to his pictures and comedy. A small film about his life was shown just before we viewed his artwork.

Tie Fork

Tie Fork, a very nice road stop at the top of Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah. It has a replica of a 1900 train depot and roundhouse.

The White House

While staying in Grand Junction, Colorado, I was privileged to stay at "The White House".  I am not sure what reflection the window caught but it is rather odd while this gorgeous home and grounds are magnificent. This is the home of a friend of my cousin Clarissa.

They have their own lake and I caught a few reflections there.
Same lake from a different angle.

Redlands of Grand Junction, Colorado

The fence is on the right side tucked underneath the trees. The deer were having their breakfast.

Out came the sun. There really are fences in this photo, but I was far from them.

Helper, a Mining Town

A small Catholic church in Helper, Utah.

Mountain reflections

Linking to InSPIRed Sunday

Helper is not a ghost town but has some very old buildings from its heydays.

Notice the residents in the upper windows.

The mountain pass of which the main highway winds through.
