Lava Art

Fillmore is a tiny place about mid Utah looking at the State from North to South.  I was impressed with one resident who uses lava to make art.

A natural wooden sign.

Lava, rock and wood art fences. Weedless yards.

I have no idea how they are made.  Do you?

The entryway to their home.

Beautiful landscaping.

Art work for sale.  Can you see the rider on a wooden horse?

What a talented person. Never have I seen such work. So interesting. It is amazing what some people can do with nothing.

I love it Ruth! Well, they do tell you to use what you have and they are definitely recycling what is available.

You sure do find the most unusual and interesting places. I also wonder how they made that fence if you find out let us know.

Hi Ruth,
What unique art. The wooden sign is amazing as well as the lava fencing. I wonder if they skewed the lava rocks of a think rope to create the fence? Anyway, it really is creative.

My goodness. I have never seen anything like that. It looks like those fences might have a cable drilled through them and attached all together? Amazing! xo Diana
