Fogged In

Normally, we don't get much fog but here it is. The grass and trees all turn crystal white and glisten. I don't mind it as long as I don't have to drive in it.

Regardless of the fog, we had a wonderful Christmas program in church today with the choir singing Christmas songs, a solo piano of Oh Little Town of Bethlehem; a violin solo of "Gesu Bambino" with a piano accompaniment.  I had to look that last one up, never heard it before.  It is an Italian Christmas song.

Hi Ruth, Just read your comment about your relatives from Lofthouse. What a small world it is! It is a lovely village though growing rapidly now with lots of new houses but the church and the millenium committee are trying to get the community spirit up and running with different events throughout the year.I wonder where in Lofthouse your relatives lived? if you can find the street name maybe I could see if it is still there and take a photograph for you?

For me church services and spending time with my family is the best part of the Christmas season. Pretty soon you will see your family.

I hate foggy days, I don't like driving in it either.
