Oink critters of Sedona City, AZ.
Inside the chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. It is a very small chapel.
I never knew that cactus could be green and lavender.
A lovely sculpture in downtown Sedona.

your photos are fabulous...
I was in Sedona years ago and remember those pastel lavender and greens very well. The soft colors took the sting out of the needles. :)
Hi Ruth,
Love the photo of the cactus; so intriguing! Thanks for sharing!

These are wonderful! Are those warthogs? I would have to swipe one!!! That striking look of the outside of the chapel, from the inside, is wonderful. One would picture that is it really huge!!
thanks for taking us on a walk around the town, would love to visit some day
Very nice photos and I also have never seen purplish cacti! Hmmmm.
Sedona is quite a city. We have friends that live there-mostly for the golfing, I think- xo Diana
Your comment on my blog about Wagontown is so amusing to me. At what time did your ancestor live there? Were they a Quaker too? Was Wagontown primarily Quaker? I think it is funny that today the fiddlers' picnic is held there.
I love those oink statues!! I have never been to Sednoa but that lavender cactus has me wanting to visit. Thanks for stopping by Club Narwhal!
I was in Cottonwood Az from 1954 to 1964. Elementary to jr high. We had field trips to Sedona, and we all met in Oak Creek canyon for a family reunion 30 years later. I knew it before......it was farmhouse to the rich and famous
