Not Pumpkin Time

It is definitely not pumpkin time but there they were three giant pumpkins sitting on the bed of this truck in May on this old wreck. We never have snow in August and look at our mountains. Why this old beat up truck has a yellow top is beyond me? So do pumpkins start to shrivel with age and dry up like an apple?

Originally, I think that this sign had bright yellow words but this is what happens in just a few years.

Your first picture is just wonderful, it has everything! It really should be in a magazine. The old truck, the huge old pumpkins, and the beautiful mountains for your background. How can it get better than this?

Really cool photo of the truck and the pumpkins.
Based on this photos, I'd say pumpkins dry up and loose their vibrancy with age too...oh dear.
Best,
Sharon

LOVE that truck, packed with prune-y pumpkins, chippy paint and a cheery yellow top to top it off!

The photo are great.
In answer to your question: pumpkins begin to rot after being exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. Those pumpkins actually look too perfect to be real. :-)

Both are excellent...I love the sign in the second, even if the colors have faded with time.
