It is so very different from where I live. It looks like a movie set to me.

I would love to experience all that but maybe not with such a crowd!

Horse thief wasn't as lucky as you when you caught this intriguing reflection... ^^ I hope you had a lot of fun in this farwest city renactment...

Such a a cool museum! Love the cactus.

I love the saguaro cacti - they stand tall and their 'arms' look like a maestro about to conduct a desert orchestra. A symphony of beauty...the last tome I was in the Sonoran desert, it was summer and way too hot - this looks like the perfect time of year for a visit :)

Desert scenes are beautiful to the eyes but the dryness and heat can be a real test! Nicely Dian!

The coffin serves as a cautionary tale!

The coffin, though grim the origin may be, looks charming to me!

Great photos Ruth. They are just how I imagined the desert to be. I must admit I prefer things a bit more green!

We visit Tucson quite often to go to University of Arizona football and basketball games. The last trip we went to the Titan Missile Museum. It was well worth the drive south of town. - Margy

Interesting to see such images as from history rather then movies. :)

I lived in Tucson many moons ago - it changed my perception of the word desert - it was way more colorful than I had ever imagined.

I love those tall, with arm cactus- saguaro!! See them all around Sedonia, Az and Phoenix area.
Doesn't it take 25 years to grow an arm???

BTW- You should have put someone you know in the casket and take the picture!! Was that a photo op?
