The booklet for my camera was not very helpful for me to learn to do a star burst but I did learn some new things about my camera. It pays to read instructions if they are well written.
Linking to My Town Shootout Friday.
My old camera has adjustments for the aperature but my latest camera has an auto aperature adjustment and this was the best it did.
Also joining Friday's the tablescaper with places I've been.

I have this happen by accident as I say on my post, not sure why, but my new camera does adjust as well. After the spots go away in your eyes LOL
i only get star bursts by accident! i have no idea what aperature or iso is. i'm an automatic girl!!
Oh my goodness, this photo is amazing! It looks like somewhere in a rainforest or south America.
Sometimes automatic settings serve us well, other times, not so much. Good effort.
I have been to that same place, Ruth. It is beautiful!!! xo Diana
I am like Debbie I only got my shots by accident. Love that falls shot.

For a minute I thought I'd been to those falls. Then I realized where they are. They are very like some that we have in the back blocks of Northland.
What an appropriate name for those falls. Beautiful.
If you can't control your aperture you could try using you landscape setting because that will create a smaller aperture. The falls are beautiful.
Gorgeous fall!
Learning is always interesting, and there it is a beautiful picture. Love, Mary
I have been absent, trying to catch up. Thank you for always coming by...
