The White House

While staying in Grand Junction, Colorado, I was privileged to stay at "The White House".  I am not sure what reflection the window caught but it is rather odd while this gorgeous home and grounds are magnificent. This is the home of a friend of my cousin Clarissa.

They have their own lake and I caught a few reflections there.
Same lake from a different angle.

Why is it called the White House? Just curious as it doesn't appear to be white to me! Nice images though!
