Heber City

Made a lunch stop at Heber City last weekend on my way home. I remembered this very old stone house on Main Street that had been converted into a restaurant and had the most mouth watering food. It had changed owners and was now a bar and restaurant. It did not have as many food choices and the entrance had been moved to the side. I ate a delicious black bean soup covered with too much cheese (for someone on a diet) and a dollop of sour cream with home made chips.

The bathroom had just enough room for a sink and a toilet and no more so it was filled with a gigantic mirror to make it look bigger.

I opted to eat outside under the trees and watched all the birds fly into the eves and go into their homes.

Hi Ruth,

What a beautiful exterior on this mansion-turned-restaurant/bar! Your al fresco dining experience sounds lovely; glad you enjoyed your visit there.

Nice presentation, and your reflections are simply awesome ; this restaurant have a lot of "cachet" as we say in French. I hope you enjoyed your meal.

very interesting architecture... I'm sure that it is a good place to make a great lunch in the open air... Fantastic photos...

Oh, I like the exterior of the building. I too would have chosen to eat outdoors and watch the birds. Sounds delightful!

Sounds like a lovely place (except for the bathroom!). Lots of great color, too.
