These photos show the view from my back stoop. Tuesday, it rained hard in the valley but snowed like crazy in the mountains. Park City was hit with a major snow storm and also Parley's Canyon which is the major freeway heading east to Wyoming.
I've actually seen snow in June in Utah before but not on the 17th of June. Our normal temperature for this time of year is 80 degrees F. but on Tuesday is was 50 and dropped down to almost freezing that night. Some neighbors were worried about the tomato plants but a day too late. I think mine survived.
I actually braved swimming at 9 AM yesterday with the temperature at 50 degrees but the pool was warm so it was nice - only goose bumps appearing after leaving the pool. Vapors rose from the pool all during our class which made me think of swimming in a hot springs in dead winter.

So breathtakingly beautiful, snow and all! - Karen
Snow sounds perfect right about now, Ruth, as we are experiencing a nasty heatwave here on the island, along with super speedy south winds - ugh! You have breathtaking views, my friend!
