Linking to Weekend Reflections and
Good Fences
Skywatch Friday
Friday My Town Shootout
We actually had some rain storms in our arid dry State of Utah and snow on our mountains. Two storms have left the mountains snow capped.
This is part of my neighborhood.
Just half a block away is this old home.
If you look real close, there is a fence beyond the bull and tree. This was taken at Garden City, Utah next to Bear Lake.
A bit of snow from our first storm which melted but now we have more again.

Nice variety of sights in you area. Love the mountain scenes. Most interesting was the reflection in the water.
What a difference half a block makes! Great shots of your area, especially the mountains and the bull is very well made!
your terrain is so different than mine here. love it.
(and yes, the mesquite was that center tree).
Excellent reflective shot with that puddle!
Great cloud shots there especially the reflection in the puddle.
I love the clouds in the puddle! Sometimes, when I see reflexions like that in puddles I would like to step into that other world. :)
Thanks for the visit! I hope that you will come again.
I had another exciting genealogy find this year. I had traced my mother's family back to. France.....and that is as far as I got.
Well, on a River Cruise this Spring, down through Provence (southen France) I took an excursion to the tiny village of Uzes. Having been to Provence many times I exclaimed that is couldn't believe that I had never been to this darling place. I posted pics on social media when. I got back to the ship. An elderly relative informed me that is where our Huguenot relatives were from in the seventh century.
I have since contacted someone there working in the archives and she took photos of old ledgers with my family name everytime it appeared.
Sorry this is so long. ...but if you are a genealogist...you can identify with my excitement. janey
Oops! That was the seventeenth century!
Hi Ruth, I always enjoy your photos. Your mountains make our Georgia mountains look like hills! lol We are at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains here.
Have a blessed weekend.
You have a good eye to capture that puddle reflection. Well done!!
I live the mountain views! I can't believe it's time to think about snow already!

Great fence finds. That bull was pretty cool and what pretty clouds. Snow already...I'm hoping it holds off here for quite some time.
