Linking to Weekend Reflections
Jasna Gora possesses a painting of the Black Madonna which was painted by St. Luke on the cedar table of the holy family in Jerusalem. It was brought to Czestochowa in 1384 by Constantinople. People of Poland have been making pilgrimages to this monastery every since.

Klobuck Cemetery - I never thought I'd get a selfie on a tombstone.
Building reflections of Jasna Gora on phone booths. That young man wanted to be in my phone so he showed off his leg.

Yes, Czestochowa it is worth visiting so nice and crowded. Beautiful photos. Greeting from Bytom 70 km from Czestochowa
wow, some very unusual reflective surfaces! how wonderful to see a painting of the Black Madonna, from what I've read, she's quite an inspiring art piece.
Can't wait to see where your journey takes you next. Mercure hotels are nice. (they are a chain of ibis hotels)

Very clever reflections. Do they have many phone booths? There are hardly any here now anymore. They are much more modern and prettier than ours here. You make me laugh abut the man's leg, you are so witty.
That is such an awesome serie... I love the fact that you captured a self portrait on a tumbstone : it changes the atmosphere of the place.
A great array of reflections...:)JP
Lots of great reflection shots!

Excellent reflections
Ruth, I hope that you publish a post about the monastery in Czestochowa.
An image of a black Madonna is a Polish holiness.
Greetings from Polish.
Rarely gets his own picture of the gravestone still in your life. Lovely reflections :)
I haven't seen Phone huts in a long time. When all have a cell phone at all, so we haven't the public telephones any more (maybe somewhere still have).
I like your Poland series of pictures! I'd like to go there myself someday.
Also this reminds me to go checkout The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa which is only a few miles from me.
