Funny you should mention Philly and ancestors. I didn't know this before I moved here but I recently found out that some of my ancestors came to Philly from Switzerland in the 1750's. They ended up in Salt Lake City by the mid 1800's. I'd like to see Salt Lake City and Spanish Fork someday because that's where my mother, grand parents, great grand(s) going back several generations were born.
Sweet indeed to see all this green and blooming in Temple Square. We love Salt Lake City!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! And I love the shadow of the big tree on the walkway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour-I've not seen the Temple in real life or really visited Salt Lake City. Looks beautiful
ReplyDeleteLovely shadows! It's great to see the trees with leaves again! (Although I also love the gracefulness of bare branches,)
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections in the windows. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI love those shadows in the middle
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. It has been years since I have walked the area and I always enjoyed it.
ReplyDeletePretty views!
ReplyDeleteEvery time a little plot of color brightens the cold starkness of the city, it is a beautiful thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place. Nice shots!

Everything is so open and clean and fresh. Pretty view of the temple.

Nice shots, Ruth. I have never been to Utah, let alone Salt Lake City.
