City Library Reflections

It was an overly sunny day in May when I took these two photos. So sunny that many of my photos were too light. I was not shooting directly into the sun but just to the northwest and it still was too much.

Too much light.

Much better but still a lot of light. I even caught the mountains in the background. What do you think?

Short shadows - close to noon.

  2. You know what? I love the first one the best, it is just beautiful. It looks surrealistic and edited to be that way. I love the way the building curve just kind of fades away on the end.

  3. I think the one with the mountains showing through the pillars is amazing! I'm not a real photographer (I just pretend to be one on my blog) so I can't speak to the light.... but I can see that it is a beautiful building in a beautiful area (and I love Libraries) so the post make me happy!

  5. ACtually the ones that are kind of "washed out" are kind of artsy looking to me. Hope you had a great day- xo Diana

  6. The last photo is amazing - you swimm middle the mountains!
The second photo looks like an architect's scale model.
    Wish you a happy evening.

  7. I love the photos, Ruth. And that first one, I think what you call 'too much light' makes it look like a work of art. Beautiful!
