Mystery Leak

My family is coming home so repairs needed to be done. The plumber came yesterday and put in a new disposal, fixed the toilet leak and tried to find the mystery leak.

He never discovered where the mystery leak from my sink is coming from because it does not show it's annoying head unless I leave my home for at least two weeks and turn my heat down.  When I return, all the towels which I keep underneath the sink are wet and I have a giant wash to do. This has happened three times now and it is baffling.

Today is Abby's day for a doctor visit.  She only goes every three years when her rabies shot needs updating along with the other shots so it is a costly affair.  Abby, Abby I have a surprise for you!

How excited you must be to have your grandchildren and daughter (son-in-law, too) in the same area again. Now you can have tea parties, craft days, and play dates with the little sweethearts.
Sounds like you are having and expensive week with plumbers and vets!

She is really just so gorgeous! My son and family had this problem in their bathroom, the floor kept getting water on it and no one could find out what it was. Finally a good toilet person found that the toilet had not been sealed properly and it was just a tiny bit off center. This had gone on for so long that it warped their floor and they had to get another floor st the same time the toilet was fixed. I hope this helps!!

Leaks are alway horrid as water can just find a way out of the tiniest hole. Hope Abby I gets a clean bill of health. X

Poor Abby, still, it's better to be safe than sorry. Are your family coming home for a holiday or to live?

Leaks are annoying if not frustrating if you ask me. And I was as baffled as you are that your plumber couldn't find the cause of the leak. Well, it has been months. I sure hope the leak is fixed by now even though I couldn't find any update about it on your recent posts. Best of luck!

Nasty leaks! What's nastier is that your plumber didn't do his job as expected. He shouldn't just leave his job order without pinpointing the main cause of the leakage. This is very unethical; you should have called his boss and complained. As a matter of fact, you shouldn't have paid for his services because he didn't finish the job he was asked to do in the first place.
